Hey there! I'm glad to meet you! I'm Jodilinn Robinson, your Native Realtor. I am a seventh generation Austinite and proud to say my family was part of the original 300 settlers to Texas. I was born in Austin, left before it got weird LOL, grew up in Georgetown and now reside in Granite Shoals on Lake LBJ. My Real Estate career started 12 years ago and it's been a great 12 years of experience and wonderful relationships gained. Like many of my clients I have had many major life events. I have lost family members, lost pets, lost a marriage, sold a home, moved a few times, etc. It's life's ups and downs that motivate me to do my best for my clients. We are all going through something and what may be small to one person could be huge to another, so I always try and remember that in a transaction and in life. I also have a passion for live music, paddle boarding, fishing and being with friends and family. That is something that draws me closer to some of my clients as well. A lot of my clients become my friends too and we like doing some of the same things. I have a love for the community and those in it, I believe that volunteering is an important part of everyday life. It helps me stay connected to my community. Hopefully, it helps you too. I was raised in Tyler, Texas in a big, crazy, and fun family. My parents were huge Notre Dame fans and I too became one, leaving Texas to head to South Bend, Indiana where I majored in Marketing and Arabic at the University of Notre Dame. But, ever since high school, I had always had a desire to go into law enforcement. After college, I volunteered at an orphanage in South Africa and loved it, then later applied to the Austin Police Department. I started my career in law enforcement in 2014 with APD. While in the department, I patrolled the southwest region of Austin, worked on a specialized team that served felony warrants on dangerous criminals and was also a part-time member of the SWAT team. I met my husband in middle school, and we dated off and on for 15ish years before finally getting married and becoming pregnant. After 7 years in the police force, I decided to switch careers so that I not only had a safer career, but also one that allowed more quality time with my family. I recently gave birth to our second daughter, and we are loving the new addition to our family! I have always been passionate about serving others, and I am excited to assist the people in my community in navigating the complex world of real estate!
